Activating Gas Infrastructure Networks for Green Hydrogen: Lessons from Europe

ABOUT:
Two European-based initiatives – HyDeal Ambition and the European Backbone Initiative – have already made significant strides to decarbonize Europe's gas and energy systems. To achieve low-cost delivered hydrogen, these initiatives are supporting European gas operators in creating a ‘green hydrogen-ready’ infrastructure system capable of transporting, distributing, and storing green hydrogen gas.
