Janice Lin

Founder, President, and Interim Executive Director

With over two decades of experience in clean energy market development and industry leadership, Janice leads the Green Hydrogen Coalition (GHC), advancing the production and adoption of green hydrogen. Janice previously founded and led the California Energy Storage Alliance (CESA), co-founded Energy Storage North America (ESNA), and co-founded the Vehicle-Grid Integration Council (VGIC), helping shape energy storage and vehicle-grid integration policy and market growth. Janice is the recipient of numerous industry honors, including the 2019 Entrepreneur of the Year Cleanie® Award, the 2014 NAATBATT Market Development Award, and the ESA 2013 Phil Symons Energy Storage Award. Janice also serves as Founder and CEO of Strategen, advising renewable energy innovators, utilities, and international organizations, and has contributed to national and regional policymaking through service on the U.S. Department of Energy’s Electricity Advisory Council, the Board of Advisors for the Energy Policy Initiatives Center (EPIC), and the Energy Storage Committee of Joint Venture Silicon Valley. Janice holds an MBA from Stanford University and dual degrees in Economics and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.


Tim Kamermayer

Director, Policy and Regulatory Affairs

With nearly two decades of experience in California politics, Tim brings a wealth of expertise to the GHC. For the past five years, he served as the Lead Legislative Affairs Representative at the California Independent System Operator (CAISO), where he led the government affairs team, coordinated with the transmission and policy departments, managed legislative communications, and cultivated relationships with key stakeholders and consultants. A former National Debate Champion, Tim earned his law degree from McGeorge School of Law.


Vicky Tran

Marketing & Operations Specialist

With over a decade of experience in social media management, Vicky has had the opportunity to curate content for well-known companies such as Chipotle, Victoria's Secret PINK, Tatcha, Coca-Cola, and SubKulture Entertainment. Vicky also specializes in executing inclusive, engaging, and on-brand events. In the span of five years, she has led numerous events for various industries, including technology, finance, and retail. Vicky holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Arts with Honors from San Francisco State University.


Katya Matsko

Development Associate

Katya is a Development Associate for the GHC, where she develops and implements strategies to enhance donor engagement and expand funding opportunities. She specializes in strategic planning, donor outreach, digital fundraising, and business development. Katya is also experienced in project management, overseeing initiatives that drive organizational growth and stakeholder engagement. She is a senior at the University of Washington in Seattle, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, along with a certificate in international studies in business and a sales certificate. Knowing three languages, English, Russian, and Spanish, she effectively navigates diverse cultural and professional environments to foster strong partnerships and collaboration.
